Do fungal microbes effect the ears?
Yes they do and the frequency and energy of person needs to change.
Yes sometimes things are needed in certain order to balance the levels.
All things have a role and order here you can not rid yourself of pathogens completely so don't try but you can balance them as when you were young and immune was stronger and quicker to recover.
